A Complete Home Renovation With a New Addition

Nestled in a coveted street lined with mature trees and historic homes, project Traditional Reinvented was a perfect balance of achieving functional, open spaces more often found in modern homes while keeping the traditional charm and character to enhance the picturesque neighbourhood.

The addition of a large, inviting, covered porch featuring beautiful columns, and stone steps encourages you to relax and spend time with family or catch up with neighbours.

Inside, the once fragmented layout, tiny kitchen and dark wood paneling were transformed into a well-balanced open floor plan with large windows, custom cabinetry, warm hardwood floors and an open staircase. The dining area features a dry bar complete with glass cabinetry and does double duty as a serving and display area.  A large kitchen island with ample seating, soothing white and grey tones, quartz counters and pendant lights is open to the living room. The original wood burning fireplace was restored with granite, sophisticated moulding details and wall sconces. The perfect area to relax as a family or entertain guests.

A large open staircase leads you to the second floor. Here a beautiful master bedroom and ensuite retreat was added over the existing garage. Vaulted ceilings, a cozy fireplace, built-in window seats, gleaming marble, a luxurious free-standing tub, and spacious glass shower create a tranquil space for busy parents to unwind after a long day.  Two additional bedrooms, bathroom and homework loft complete the second floor.
